TOBIQ Duffel Review: The Travel Bags (and Diaper Bag) Our Whole Family Is Obsessed With
Durable travel bags for moms and families
PRODUCT & BRAND REVIEWS

If you've ever dumped your entire bag onto a gate-area floor looking for one teether, this post is for you.
TOBIQ duffels fixed that for our family, and now half my relatives own one.
How we found TOBIQ (blame my sister-in-law)

We first heard about TOBIQ from my sister-in-law. Before their big Europe trip last summer, she bought one for everyone in their family. Matching bags, color-coded, every person organized. Honestly iconic.
Then we all spent a couple nights at my parents' place, and my mom and I got to see their bags up close. Every time someone needed a charger, a snack, or their toothbrush, they unzipped one compartment and grabbed it. No digging. No "hold on, it's in here somewhere."
My mom ordered hers basically on the spot. I played it cool for a bit, but I couldn't stop thinking about them. So when my birthday rolled around, I knew exactly what to ask my hubs for: one for me and one for our son. Now I totally get why her whole family came home obsessed. These bags are ridiculously versatile.
What makes TOBIQ different

TOBIQ's whole thing is built-in organization. Instead of one big cavern, their duffels split into separate zippered compartments. Think packing cubes, except they're sewn into the bag and you never have to unpack them.
Here's what sold me:

Compartments that actually work. Snacks live in one section, clothes in another, chargers in a third. Nothing mixes, and you know exactly where everything is.
Machine washable. Yes, really. As a mom, this alone is worth the price of admission.
Made from recycled materials. The duffels use recycled 900D CORDURA with YKK zippers, so they're tough and a little kinder to the planet.
Carry it however you want. Grab handles, a shoulder strap, tuck-away backpack straps, and a trolley pass-through that slides right over your suitcase handle.
A brand that gives back. TOBIQ supports travel for people going through cancer treatment with every purchase, which I love.
Our 18L Daily Duffel in Nova:
travel bag + diaper bag in one

We got the 18L Daily Duffel in the Nova colorway for my son, and it pulls double duty. It's his travel bag on trips and our everyday diaper bag at home. One bag, two jobs, zero regrets.
Why it works so well as a diaper bag:
The zip-down back panel is made for changes. It has dedicated spots for diapers, wipes, and creams, so diaper duty doesn't mean emptying the whole bag.
Three front compartments keep chaos contained. Snacks in one, a spare outfit in another, burp cloths, teethers, and the nursing cover in the third. No more fishing a sippy cup out from under a blowout change of clothes.
Pop-out water bottle pocket. It tucks away when you don't need it and clips your bottle in when you do.
Backpack straps for hands-free parenting. When you're holding a toddler and a coffee, this matters.
Personal-item sized. It's designed to fit personal-item limits on many major US airlines, so it rides under the seat on flights.
And the best part? It's not baby-looking. When he outgrows the diaper stage, that back panel becomes a home for an iPad, coloring books, and travel extras. This bag grows with him.
My 30L Traveler Duffel in Sahara:
the just-right travel bag
Real talk: I'm still an overpacker, and I still check a bag. I don't just pack the regular necessities. I travel with a full tech setup: camera gear, a tripod, my laptop, chargers, the works.
But this bag has made me way more minimal. The built-in compartments mean I'm packing fewer separate cases and pouches, because the bag is the organizer. Camera gear goes in one section, laptop and cords in another, and my in-flight essentials in a third. It slides under the seat (it's designed to fit personal-item limits on many major US airlines, but always check yours), and I can grab anything mid-flight without unpacking my whole life.
And for a local overnight or staycation? I could absolutely get away with just the 30L. TOBIQ rates it for 2 to 3 day trips, so if you're a lighter packer than me (low bar), it can easily be your only bag for a weekend.

For me, I went with the 30L Traveler Duffel in Sahara, and it's my carry-on for every trip. The warm, neutral colorway goes with everything, and it looks way more put-together than my old "whatever bag was closest" approach.

More TOBIQ favorites worth a look
Once you're a TOBIQ family, it's hard to stop at one bag.
Here are the other pieces I'd add to your cart.
The 60L Original is the bag that started it all, and it's built for big packers. TOBIQ recommends it for 5 to 7 day trips, and it's designed to meet carry-on size limits for many major US airlines.
If you're the "I refuse to leave anything behind" type, or you're packing for the whole crew, this is your bag. It's also a great pick for a big family vacation.
If you love the TOBIQ organization but want wheels, the Adventure Trolley Roller is your answer. Roll it through the airport and stack a duffel on top using the trolley pass-through. That's a whole matching travel setup, and you'll look like you have your life together at the gate (even if you don't).
One honest heads-up from my sister-in-law, who's used it: the wheels don't spin 360 degrees like the four-way spinner wheels on a lot of suitcases. That makes it a little harder to maneuver than most rollers out there. For her, the trade-off was worth it, because you still get TOBIQ's signature organization and that duffel-stacking setup. Just know going in that you'll be pulling it behind you, not gliding it beside you.
The TOBIQ Toiletry Bag brings that same compartment-loving design to your bathroom stuff. Skincare, hair tools, and makeup each get their own spot instead of becoming one tangled mess. Great for couples sharing a bag or anyone with a real routine.
The Tiny Toiletry Bag is the cutest little sidekick. Toss it in your purse or diaper bag for lip balm, hair ties, meds, and travel-size essentials. It's also a perfect stocking stuffer (just saying).
Which TOBIQ size is right for you?

Here's the quick cheat sheet, based on TOBIQ's own size guide:
Bag
Dimensions
Best for
8" H x 11.5" D x 14.25" W
8" H x 13" D x 17" W
12" H x 15" D x 20" W
Diaper bag, everyday, 1 to 2 nights
2 to 3 day trips, personal item
5 to 7 day trips, big packers
Always check your airline's current baggage rules before you fly.
The great 18L vs. 30L debate
(aka my marriage right now)

Next on our TOBIQ list is a bag for my hubs. He's eyeing the 18L. I'm trying to convince him to get the 30L.
My case: the 18L is amazing for a diaper bag or a quick overnight. But for a guy who wants one bag for weekend trips? The 30L gives you real room for clothes and shoes while still sliding under the airplane seat. Same organization, way more flexibility.
His case: smaller is lighter and "he doesn't need that much stuff." (We'll see how that holds up when he's borrowing space in MY bag.)
I'll report back on who wins. Team 18L or Team 30L? Tell me in the comments.
Final thoughts: is TOBIQ worth it?
For our family, 100% yes. One brand covers my son's diaper bag, my carry-on, and soon my husband's bag too. They're washable, tough, made from recycled materials, and so organized you'll never go back to a regular duffel.
If you only grab one, start here:
Mamas: the 18L Daily Duffel as a diaper bag that doubles as a travel bag
Carry-on or quick overnights: the 30L Traveler Duffel
Big packers and family trips: the 60L Original Duffel
Want wheels: the Adventure Trolley Roller
Add-ons: the Toiletry Bag and Tiny Toiletry Bag

Be warned: once your family sees yours, they'll want one too. Ask my sister-in-law.
